What Does a Site Manager Do?
A Site Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of construction projects, overseeing everything from workforce coordination to health and safety enforcement and quality control. They act as the key link between the client, subcontractors, suppliers, and workers-ensuring all activities meet the strategic objectives of the build.
- Project Planning & Execution: Our Site Managers ensure that the build follows a clear programme of work, managing schedules and resources to meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Workforce Management: They lead and motivate teams of site operatives, subcontractors, and supervisors—ensuring that all personnel are working effectively and safely.
- Safety Compliance: All KKE Site Managers are trained to enforce UK Health & Safety (HSE) regulations, conduct toolbox talks, oversee risk assessments, and respond quickly to site hazards or incidents.
- Quality Assurance: We ensure all construction activities align with project specifications, building standards, and client expectations. Regular inspections and snagging are carried out throughout the process.
